Seat Belt Buckle Guard
thingiverse
I created this a couple of years back for my little brother who is acutely on the autism spectrum and is nonverbal. This print works in a similar vein to the Angel Guard. It prevents the occupant from unbuckling the seatbelt on their own during a car ride unless they have the key (or any stick/shaped object). Simply cover a compatible buckle with it before putting the buckle tongue in. To release it, put the key in the keyhole and use it to push the seatbelt button. THIS ONLY WORKS ON BUCKLES WITH A FRONT BUTTON. My younger brother had issues with unbuckling seatbelts in the middle of bus rides when he took the city's access bus, which is dangerous. This system has worked for the past 2 years now. I originally designed the first model 4 years ago in Tinkercad, but as my abilities improved, I remade new versions in Fusion 360 and made them compatible with more types of vehicles that are used to pick up my younger brother.
