I crafted this innovative Seat Belt Bag Keeper to securely store grocery bags or take out food bags, keeping them from sliding forward while driving around town. I employed an elastic cord to connect the parts, but you can also opt for paracord or a thin rope - simply thread the cord through each component and tie a knot on both ends. For the hook part, position the knot on the side featuring the swivel joint; there's ample space within the swivel for the knot to sit snugly. This clever design is particularly useful when you keep bags on the front seat passenger floor and don't want to hold them while driving. I designed the hook to automatically lock closed by maintaining tension, with the elastic cord providing additional support due to its elasticity. To print the parts effectively, lay each component flat on your printer bed. Note: I updated the seat belt part to accommodate a wide range of vehicles; I've removed the older design that only worked on a few select brand vehicles. Print Settings: Printer: Hatchbox Alpha Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.3mm Infill: 20% Notes: Print all parts lying flat. I managed to print all three components in just 45 minutes.
