By constructing upwards, Seaside Retreat 2100 retains the allure and value of heritage beach properties while also elevating them above rising sea levels. At first glance, this peaceful getaway exudes simplicity in its sleek form and practical functionality. A generous lawn beckons for sun-kissed afternoons and picnics beneath a warm ocean breeze, all under the watchful eye of a single chimney ensuring year-round comfort even in the face of extreme weather fluctuations. Beneath, a sturdy tower anchors the structure high above any projected 6 meter sea level rise, affording ample clearance for the most turbulent storm surges. A spacious water tank-like reservoir supplies an abundance of resources to sustain life as usual above ground, safeguarding the modern lifestyle against environmental concerns. Seaside Retreat 2100 honors humanity's remarkable capacity to evolve in harmony with change, liberating us from preoccupation over underlying challenges.
