Some folks and some boats have a harder time differentiating the direction a boat is going. This stand for the pirate ships helps to indicate which way they are headed. It is shaped like a wedge to point towards the direction of travel. The thickness of the tokens could vary a bit so there are pads on the inside channel that can be shaved down if necessary.
