When cutting-edge technology meets vintage innovation. This is my Panasonic M3000 VHS camera, a 20-year-old device still functioning like new. However, it has one major flaw - the original SLA battery has given out, forcing me to use its wall adapter instead. The adapter itself is old and on the verge of dying soon. I could have bought a replacement, but the cost was prohibitive, making it not worth the expense even without shipping costs factored in. Since acquiring my 3D printer, I decided to create a custom battery for it. After researching dimensions online and using the original charger to determine hole size, I moved on to soldering. I assembled three 18650's together in a 3S1P configuration, utilizing three TP4056 chargers to charge them up. You can use your own electronics for this project as well - just be aware that mine requires three separate chargers to prevent battery shorts, but that works fine for me. At least it functions properly now! I'm thrilled with the outcome of this DIY endeavor. With some patience and creativity, it should work on other models too. This marks my very first 3D printed project, taking a total of five hours to complete. During this process, I also gained hands-on experience with Fusion 360 software.
