Sealant Tube Cap (Green Glue)
thingiverse
This is a cap which can be screwed onto the top of Green Glue sealant tubes to prevent them from drying up after opening. I could not find any published numbers concerning the threads and had to make some educated guesses and use trial and error to get it right. I've included the OpenSCAD file and I tried to make it as easy to modify as possible. So if you need different parameters you should be able to change them. Also you can change / remove the text on the cap if you want. If you want to modify this you will need to install BOSL (https://github.com/revarbat/BOSL/) into your OpenSCAD libraries since I used its functions to make the thread inside the cap. I've also included a small test nut you can use to determine if the threading settings are correct for your tube before you print out the whole cap.
With this file you will be able to print Sealant Tube Cap (Green Glue) with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Sealant Tube Cap (Green Glue).
