This innovative sealant applicator is compact and easy to use. The amount of sealant is driven by the wheel at the base of the applicator (the one in contact whit the floor/wall).That wheel is a FACE gear with a rubber ring on the external surface that increases the grip of the wheel. The power from the second gear to the top pulley is transmitted through a two pieces shaft. The CVT system at the top (combined with the cam grip driven) gives the possibility to vary the transmission ratio so that the user can choose the right amount of sealant to use. The power from the first pulley to the second is transmitted by a belt and then from the second pulley to the plate that pushes the piston of the cartridge is transmitted by an operating screw system. To balance the axial forces two axial cylindrical roller bearings. To have an even amount of seal the tip nozzle has a triangular shape. The cartridge replacement is really easy because the top cap is right handed and the one at the bottom is left handed so turning the cartridge seat the two caps will move in opposite directions. This is possible because the two pieces shaft extends and keep tuned the transmission system (through a reference slot).
