Seal Line Strap Clip V3

Seal Line Strap Clip V3

In my third version of the strap clip for my Seal Line backpack, I aimed to hold the loose end of the strap to its fixed counterpart on the waist belt. I have used V3 for several months, and it has proven to be sturdy with no issues of straps separating. My Printrbot Simple 3D printer was utilized at a 0.25mm layer height with Metallic Midnight Blue PLA filament. The previous versions taught me valuable lessons. V2's issue lied in having the opening for both front and rear strap in the same place, as well as its overall thickness that was problematic for my old printer and made it brittle. The strap would occasionally slip out due to these issues. V1 taught me that unnecessary thickness was not required for holding the strap together, so I opted for a slimmer profile. This reduced material usage but increased printing accuracy. However, I learned that a different inserting method was necessary. Straps used to slip out frequently in V1, but using a center divider to insert both straps from the same side solved this problem, as only one strap could enter or exit at a time.
