Seahorse Clock
thingiverse
The Seahorse Clock is designed to accept any single battery-operated clockwork. Its opening measures 80mm in diameter. The model consists of several separate parts that need to be assembled together after printing: the seahorses, the barrel, the base, the dial, and the disk. When assembling the model, it's essential to print the disk upside down and then flip it over before gluing it onto the barrel. Next, attach the dial to the disk using glue. To achieve proper alignment, glue both the seahorses to the barrel and the base simultaneously. Finally, connect the clockwork mechanism to complete the project. This approach is preferred due to its faster print times for each part, allowing for multiple colors on the finished assembly without the need for painting.
