This custom cutter produces cookies approximately 5.2 inches in diameter. By dividing this cutter into two distinct pieces, I was able to enhance its functionality. I carefully tapered the cutting edge of one piece to ensure a more precise cut and prevent the cookie dough from being crushed rather than sliced cleanly. My wife, an experienced baker and decorator, suggested separating the interior portion for easier use, eliminating concerns about the thickness of the rolled-out dough.
