Seafloor Globe 150x
thingiverse
The Seafloor Globe 150x employs ETOPO2 data to create an exaggerated underwater landscape, where depths are 150 times deeper than typical. The result is a visually stunning representation of the ocean floor with its flat landmasses. With 130,000 triangles in each .stl file, this globe showcases meticulous attention to detail. Two files comprise the Seafloor Globe 150x: Earth, the outer file, and an inner file designated as 722, which is 1/8 inch smaller to form a shell-like structure.\r\n\r\nThe Seafloor Globe 150x has been acquired by various notable individuals including the Australian Naval Academy, a retired Admiral in Virginia, and a retired Submarine Officer in California. My little sister also owns one of these unique globes. You can view more information about this product at https://web.archive.org/web/20060402220949/http://reliefglobe.com/.
