This sea urchin 'shell' showcases the defining traits of the echinodermata phylum. More precisely, it falls within the Echinoidea class, which can exhibit flawless pentagonal symmetry. Nevertheless, not all members of this phylum display perfect pentagonal symmetry; some exhibit superimposed bilateral symmetry (such as sand dollars). The specimen measures approximately six centimetres in diameter.
