The Sea&Sea DX-1G is an excellent choice for beginners who want to capture stunning underwater footage without breaking the bank. Typically, it can be purchased at a very affordable price. One of its standout features is the optional wide-angle lens that can be easily attached or detached underwater. However, most commercial lens mounts designed to hold the lens in place while removed are quite expensive and often cost almost as much as a used lens itself. This led me to create my own custom solution. To assemble this DIY mount, you will need two M3x20 screws with accompanying nuts and washers.
