SEA Pin
thingiverse
This is an original art piece based on Disney's Society of Explorers and Adventurers. As much as this looks like just a costume piece, It was actually spawned by me seeing the geometry and being fascinated with modeling it. I enjoyed the logo and realized that it would be a great shape to model with surfaces, so I used it to familiarizing myself with the basics of Fusion 360's surface modelling tools (generally I use SolidWorks for surface modelling). I've provided the original Fusion 360 file as well, for those who are curious about the modelling techniques used, or if anyone wants to modify the files. I do NOT own this logo and while the work is my own, it's not for commercial consumption, merely for fun and (hopefully) educational purposes. Once the model was finished, I had it 3D printed in brass by shapeways.
