Sea of Thieves Hateful Bounty Skull
thingiverse
Human: Plunged into the vast expanse of the Sea of Thieves, the enigmatic Hateful Bounty Skull remains hidden, waiting for any brave soul to take a chance and claim it. According to legend, these skulls were forged by those who died seeking vengeance and lived a life consumed by hatred. The intense heat of their fury meeting the icy, choppy waters transformed their skulls into something akin to silver. The green markings that adorn the skull serve as a testament to its resentful nature, with one eye glaring menacingly towards what it sees, while another equally terrifying eye glares from the back, symbolizing all those it cannot see. Yet, the sheer force of will and magnitude of the skull's dark past deeds has caused even this metallic bone to crack, as all its sinister secrets struggle to break free. So, for the Hateful Skull, I repeated the same process with a few adjustments. I sculpted the glowing marks onto the same foul skull model, ensuring they were high enough to see but not so high that the skull looked comical. I then tried my best to achieve a convincing crack, but ultimately used my dermal tool to deepen it. I proceeded to print it in two parts again, cleaned them up, glued them together, and applied some XTC-3D before sanding. I added painter's tape over the markings and applied several coats of silver paint for the base. Using my airbrush, I then added some dark and light blue shadows reminiscent of those seen in the game. Finally, I removed the tape, applied some Cooler Brightz inside, and finished it off. I may return to paint over the marks with green paint using my airbrush later on.
