A luminous sculpture emulates the mesmerizing glow of deep-sea creatures, inspired by their ethereal bioluminescence. At its core, a cutting-edge Arduino drives the spectacle, pulsing with a vibrant life of its own. Neon hues dance across AdaFruit NeoPixels as they twinkle with an otherworldly sheen. Supporting this radiant marvel is a lattice-like structure composed of 3/4-inch wooden dowels and 1/8-inch thick acrylic rods, providing the necessary framework for the dynamic light show. With the simple slide of a top-mounted dowel, the entire sculpture can be easily disassembled or rearranged to suit any desired configuration. Each of its luminescent segments, connected by tiny strips of NeoPixels, radiates an unmistakable aura, casting an alluring glow over surrounding spaces. Tethered bulbs attach securely to these delicate NeoPixel ribbons using a humble yet potent bonding agent – hot glue.
