A whale vertebra, possibly sea mammal, is covered in barnacles; it was scanned at Dr. Franek Hasiuk's GeoFabLab in Iowa State University's Department of Geological and Atmospheric Sciences. The MakerBot Digitizer Desktop 3D Scanner was used on a "Dark" setting for the scan.
