The rail clip is a heavily modified design from Crusibal. The rope cleat is an original design. I attached the two pieces by tapping threads into the rope cleat and used M3 screws. It should fit snug over the rail. The long side of the rail clip should be on the side where there's downward force.In this case, on the outside of the rail.
