This project drew inspiration from the Sea Shell - 3D Scan model (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2811846) created by 3dTM. Please show appreciation by liking the original design. Thank 3dTM greatly. The Conical Shell was an entertaining project to work on. I produced a miniature version and observed that the wall is quite thin in one spot, resulting in a small hole visible in the images (x0.3 and x0.5 scale to verify the design). At x0.5 scale, it can hold a few US nickels and dimes. At x1.5 scale, all US coins should fit seamlessly without any holes appearing on the model. Update: 1. I added a v3 file for an alternative option to print the shell in a vase-like mode using no infill, all walls, top, and bottom at 2mm layer walls. The plug hole will be capped and requires drilling and cutting out. This revision includes a file to smooth the edges, addressing any small flaw holes that may have been present in the original file. 2-15-2019.
