SDS Plus drive shafts require periodic lubrication to function optimally. According to Wikipedia, the drill bit is not firmly secured in the chuck but rather slides back and forth like a piston. To enable this motion, the shank must be lubricated with grease. This protective cover keeps the drive shaft lubricated and clean, enhancing performance. It also prevents dirt from entering, thereby prolonging the life of the chuck. Furthermore, it keeps grease away from your hands, promoting happiness. The purpose of the flexible FlexiSmart raft is merely to keep them organized. When needed, simply tear one out. This product is incredibly easy to use: print it, add some grease, insert the drill bit, and twist to distribute the grease evenly around the drive shaft.
