SDS drill bit lead screw experiment

Lead screws can be costly and hard to find except in specialty stores; hence, we often opt for threaded rods in our designs. While looking for a machined lead screw, I noticed an 8mm SDS-plus drill bit behind the counter. Inspired, I removed the cutting tip and attached the nuts. The Alpen F4 forte nut fits perfectly with the 400mm long 8mm L450 drill bit. This modification has shown promising results, leading me to install it on my reprap Morgan machine. For experimentation purposes, I've also included the scad file.
