This is an ak aeg mid-cap mag, the sdm or "size doesn't matter mag" does require a mag spring, a typical midcap mag spring is a bit too long so it'll have to be cut down in half, besides that super glue is recommended to secure the inner mag mech into the outer shell. this mag has been tested a ton (my ak broke in the process R.I.P) i've dropped it on concrete and on grass several times and the mag still works. -A known issue is that the mag sometimes jams at last 3 rounds, this has since been addressed and fixed. -To ensure the best performance and quality out of your mag, plz print the parts one at a time (any stringing can cause hiccups in the feed system) -I do recommend sanding down the mag's internals.
