This spaceship was crafted specifically for the 2019 GrabCAD Spaceship Design Challenge. Conceived by military forces as a versatile dive bomber to combat extraterrestrial threats, these spacecraft proved largely redundant once humanity's isolated position in space was confirmed. Since then, most of these ships have been repurposed for cutting-edge scientific inquiry and research initiatives. Equipped with removable wings designed to minimize space on orbiting carriers, scientists take great satisfaction in accommodating additional SDB-19 vessels within their own research ships whenever possible. Allowing limited atmospheric flight capabilities, these converted dive bombers now support an assortment of advanced scientific instruments and probes, supplanting their former arsenal of missiles and bombs.
