Make your 1:29 scale USA Trains SD70 into an SD70ACe with this 3D printed flared radiator shroud, a kit that includes the main shroud, four louver inserts, and a fan plate to reuse the fans that came with your model. This DIY project requires some effort as you must prime, sand, and paint it yourself. The design is based on scale drawings from trainiax.net/mephase-emdsd70ace.php, which accurately represents the prototype's 17-foot long by four-foot high radiator shroud in 1:29 scale (178.7mm x 42mm). This creation was a result of Raymond Buteux's winning entry in the Micro-Mark 2020 Modeler of the Year contest.
