Human: I really liked hackermagnet's original design but my quirky printer always demands fine-tuning to get things sized just right. I get particularly bad shrinkage on small holes, so I knew I would have to tweak all the screw and nut details. In the process of making those adjustments, I ended up refining some inconsistencies in the .scad code, presenting more parameters in a cleaner way in the customizer, and adding a few enhancements:\r\n\r\n- Corrected customizer syntax and divided the parameters into separate sections for Dimensions and Options\r\n- Resized micro SD card slots (they were a bit tight compared to the SD)\r\n- Made SD and uSD card dimensions adjustable in customizer\r\n- Increased default screw hole sizes to accommodate shrinkage\r\n- Increased default magnet sizes to take 5mm x 3mm magnets (closest I had on hand)\r\n- Increased spacer size to fit larger screw holes\r\n- Added build_plate library to ensure printability on my small printer\r\n- Made magnets optional (set magnets to 0 to eliminate them)\r\n- Made top/bottom text a parameter (leave blank for none)\r\n- Parameterized screw head and nut diameters\r\n- Made screw hole and magnet positions dynamic based on hole size\r\n- Parts always build centered on the build plate\r\n- Moved top's magnets inside the finished assembly for a cleaner look\r\n\r\nI used sliders for many of the parameters to control the range and step size so the model wouldn't break.\r\n\r\nFor assembly I used black button head screws and hex nuts, which blend in nicely with the Geeetech black PLA I printed with.
