SD card shim for Sparkmaker v2
thingiverse
The shim slides neatly into the gap left beneath the SD card reader of the Sparkmaker. This annoying void was allowing the card to slip away and become lodged under the reader, but now it's a thing of the past thanks to this handy fix that requires no case opening. This smaller profile version is a game-changer for those who value efficiency. To insert it correctly, simply place the shim with the ramped edge at a downward angle so it slips smoothly beneath the SD reader. The fit is snug and may require a bit of force, but the corners of the reader should align perfectly with the raised sides of the ramp, clicking securely into place. As you do this, the outer tabs will slide back into the body of the Sparkmaker. Keep in mind that each Sparkmaker has unique design tolerances, which might affect the dimensions of this mod. If you're not comfortable applying pressure to the SD component, it's best not to attempt this fix. By installing this shim, you do so at your own risk, and I'm not responsible for any damage that may occur as a result.
