SD Card Rolodex

SD Card Rolodex

thingiverse

The recent redesign of this project makes it easier for the SD card slots to slide into the box. Although it has no practical use, it serves as an interesting conversation piece. The idea was inspired by explaining "old" computers to the creator's six-year-old daughter and demonstrating how they used floppy discs and a rolodex for program storage. This project combines modern technology (SD cards) with older concepts and also allows the creator to relax and de-stress after work by engaging in a crafting activity. However, be cautious as this is yet to be printed and may require design changes. Additionally, a mock SD card model is included for those who don't have any available. When printing, it is recommended at .200mm with a raft, and users may need to file the slots slightly for a proper fit.
