SD Card Holder for Monoprice Select Mini
thingiverse
I really loved the original micro SD card holder, but needed an option for the bigger SD card adapter that my laptop takes every time. I included two micro SD card slots and two SD adapter slots, keeping the hex tool holder right where it was. The cards fit loosely in the slots as they should. I added a chamfer to the edges of the piece and chamfers to the card slots to make them super easy to clean out when using brim. If you have amazing bed adhesion, I'd print it with no brim at all, but when I tried that, I had a bit of warping on one corner. Take note of the orientation of the print in the Cura photo - the SD card slots face downward for printing every time. The original screws from the Monoprice Select Mini still work great here. The holder is 1.5mm thick where the screws attach tightly. I didn't have any problems threading the screws back into their holes. I had to feel around a bit with the screws to get them to start, and I ran all four in a little bit before tightening them down. How I Designed This I made this from scratch in Fusion 360 based upon the original design every step of the way.
