SD Card Holder for CR-10 or similar
thingiverse
A simple SD card extension holder for the CR-10 printer. It's attached with glue or double-sided tape in my case. The holder prints as a single piece, then you insert the SD card into the loose-fitting slot, packing it with cardboard if necessary. Next, thread the tape and end stop through the front slot as shown in the photos. Now, simply "zig zag" the flat connector cable into place within the holder and secure the end snugly without glue. Plug in the micro SD connector and press the holder down to shield it from impacts (hopefully). If you're still concerned about knocks, consider adding a piece of plastic angle iron underneath. There are two holders included, one marked "no-supp" with a thin membrane covering the print holes - remove this with a craft knife. The other should have supports printed in, but Cura insisted on supporting everything, which wasn't needed. The brackets provided allow for screwing down the holder if desired, attaching them to the sides and using screws. However, since the circuit board is located below, it's probably best to use glue instead. These brackets might be useful with other printers as well.
