SD Card holder / extender

SD Card holder / extender

After printing the Minion case for Ramps for the Mostly Printed CNC, I discovered that the SD card slot was too far inside the box to easily insert and remove the card (at least for the large graphics LCD panel version). So, I created a simple "SD Extender" that allows you to insert your SD card into it, then push it into the case. This design has proven to be extremely useful because it provides a convenient handle to hold onto, making it easier to pick up off a table and locate on a cluttered surface. Inserting the SD card requires some effort and finesse due to its secure fit, which is intentional. A small "bump" was added to enhance friction, ensuring the card remains firmly in place and won't fall out. Additionally, note the slot for micro-SD card removal (as shown in the pictures) - you can still use a larger SD card holder while removing or inserting the micro-SD card. To print this design, supports are necessary but should only be built for the short edges on both ends. Infill can be light as it doesn't require strength, and a raft is unnecessary.
