SD-card holder clip-on for 3 1/4 floppy
thingiverse
My dad came up with a concept of combining old floppy disks and their cases to organize SD cards. I designed the holder, and here's the result. Although many prototypes are untested or require refinement, V2 performs quite well (V3 is still printing). V1 and V2 necessitate an additional pocket and can be printed flat. However, V3 requires support material or upside-down printing like the provided file. Version history: V1: A proof-of-concept, initial version V2: Improved V1 for less material usage and faster print time V3: Redesign to be printable in one piece. Instructions: For V1 and V2, print Aufsatz_Vx.STL and Einsatz.STL. Clean up the edges, attach as shown, fit tabs into write-protect holes, insert pocket, and SD card. For V3, print Aufsatz_Vx.STL, insert tabs into write-protect holes, and insert SD card.
