The base for this SD card holder accommodates 12 cards seamlessly. A subtle chamfer at the bottom of each card slot elevates inserted cards by 3.3mm when mistakenly placed facing the wrong direction. Two distinct cap designs are available, with the tall 't' version ensuring a secure closure even when cards are inserted incorrectly, unlike its counterpart. In the design and accompanying photos, two socket caps screws securely fasten the cover in place; however, there's no reason why a sturdy pin made from metal or carbon fibre couldn't serve as a reliable hinge pin instead.
