SD Card Handy Dandy
thingiverse
How about a new and improved SD card holder that's perfect for attaching to your key ring? It's great for carrying a spare card for your camera or sharing photos with friends on the go. After three months of carrying my SD Fob in my pocket, it finally snapped where the hook attaches to the sleeve. I tried using 123D Design to add a fillet around the complex geometry of the joint, but unfortunately, it wouldn't allow me to do so. However, after discovering Fusion 360, I was able to create a huge fillet that will last a lifetime! Print Settings: Printer Brand: FlashForge Printer: Creator Pro Resolution: 0.20 mm or finer Notes: Add a brim of 10-12 outlines to stick it onto the print bed. To ensure optimal results, print several at once and give the plastic time to cool between layers. I reduced the print speed by 50% (to 30 mm / sec) for better quality. Set minimum infill length to zero in your slicer to put a little material in the tiny orientation key strips. I designed this SD card holder specifically for my printer and ABS material, but you can easily scale it to taste in your slicer if necessary.
