Update: 06/02/19 Changed the orientation of the back plate to print correctly on the back rather than the side when originally uploaded. SD Card Adapter Housing for Wanhao Duplicator I3 Plus, Balco Touch, Maker Select Recently, the SD card reader on my Balco Touch mechanically failed. Although out of warranty, the kind people at Balco support provided me with a new main board. With most card readers mounted in a similar fashion, this has highlighted the fact that a cheap SD card could potentially cause significant expense and damage. I have therefore created a simple SD to SD Card adapter housing which bonds with double-sided tape to the side of the printer, hopefully preventing or reducing failures to the main board reader. The front-facing orientation of the reader is much better for card location. I have also included some SD Card storage card slots on the top of the housing and a ribbon tie to secure excess ribbon cable. Please note that my version of the Balco Touch does not have a USB outlet, which is one of Balco's less impressive moments. I have therefore estimated the position from the print on the mainboard.
