SD Card

Here's a Fast-Draw Concept Sketch of an SD Card: The SD Card is roughly the size and shape of a matchbook cover. It has a silver metal case with a removable plastic cap at one end, which you pry off to insert the card. The card itself is a thin rectangle about 2 inches long by 1 inch wide, with tiny gold contacts on both sides. You can remove it from the adapter and use it in another device. A notch on the top edge of the SD Card indicates its orientation when inserted into the device. You'll see a series of tiny holes along one edge where the card is connected to the contact points. This design makes it easy to identify which way the card goes into the slot.
