Scythe Power Token
thingiverse
I'm excited about a Scythe expansion that includes two Windmills but no Power Token. My 9-year-old son is looking forward to playing as that faction on Sunday, so I need to create a replacement quickly. He prefers using the original token because it's more fun. To solve this problem, I used a high-resolution image of a player board and drew over the left half of the Power Token icon in Inkscape with Bezier curves. Then, I imported that SVG into Blender and mirrored it. A Solidify modifier was applied to the entire model, adding depth details to the shield and arrows for good measure. Now, all I have to do is paint it tonight, seal it on Saturday, and we'll be ready to play by Sunday. In fact, this design is so nice that I'm going to print them out for all factions. The Blend file for this model can be found at https://www.patreon.com/posts/21420851. Update: I added more overlap between the power icon and the ribbon to make it easier to print on 10/2.
