# Scythe Box Organizer There are numerous Scythe box organizers on Thingiverse, but none matched my vision for a comprehensive box organization system. I wanted to utilize the original box to store all the components of the Scythe board game and its first two expansions: Invaders from Afar, The Wind Gambit, Table Extension, Metal Coins, Realistic Resources, Promo Cards, 7 Combat Wheels. I began searching, taking measurements, and designing my own box organizers. I must admit that some ideas were inspired by other designs, which I adapted to fit the needs of this project. ### What You Need to Print? **7 Army Containers:** Each container will hold army-specific items: wooden tokens, heroes, mechs, ships, and combat wheels. There are three different box types due to size optimization: * **Player_Box_Std:** Print 2 for White and Green Armies. * **Player_Box_Lrg:** Print 2 for Red and Black Armies with larger mech bases (+1mm in diameter). * **Player_Box_Low:** Print 3 for Purple, Yellow, and Blue Armies. These boxes are shorter since the mechs are smaller than others. * **Player_Box_Low_V2:** If you have airships, print 3 of these boxes instead of the LOW version for Purple, Yellow, and Blue Armies. This box has an increased height of +2mm to accommodate ships. **Lid:** * **Player_Box_Lid:** Fits every player box, preventing items from escaping (combat wheel cover, wooden tokens, keeps wheels in place, and prevents miniatures from getting out). * **Player_Box_Lid_NoHole:** Same as the previous lid but without a hole for combat wheels. No markings are included; if you want the Faction Logo, see the "Alternative Lid Set" section. **Resource Container:** The resource box holds 4 types of resources, resource multiplier tokens, and encounter tokens. * **Resource_Box_Lid:** * **Resource_Box:** Resource box with the same height as Player Box Low for a flat surface to place the Game Board. * **Resource_Box_V2:** Print this version instead of the previous one if you plan to print the V2 version of the Player Box and Resource Box, which have increased heights. ### Box Organization: See the pictures to understand how to arrange your items: * Place player boxes in two levels with the resource box (same height as the Low player boxes) below and above. * On the side, place the WoG card holder, followed by small and large card holders on top of it. * Coin holder goes on the side. * The army board should be placed vertically on the max side. * Action board is placed on top of the card holder. * Leave space for the game board and extension to allow the box lid to close perfectly. ### ChangeList * 14/08: Thing Published * 16/08: + Modified PlayerBoxLid (increased thickness to cover combat wheel pin and prevent bending while over the box) + Modified Resource Box (token holes too tight for tokens) + Card Trays Printed well (note: very low thickness helps fit everything and reduces print time) * 18/08: Organizer ready to be printed * 31/08: + Found a bug due to airship size on the three factions with a low height profile. V2 versions for Player Box and Resource Box have increased heights of +2mm. + Added a lid version without the hole for combat dials
