Scythe Box Organizer
thingiverse
Given that it's near impossible to get Box Organizers into Australia without paying through the nose for shipping charges, I've decided to make my own, consisting of ~13 component boxes. **This is currently a work in progress!** My intention is to create a box organizer capable of fitting the standard box that holds all of the content from the standard game plus the Invaders from Afar expansion, plus many of the extra goodies obtained during the Kickstarter project. I expect that: * all component boxes without lids will fit inside the standard box with no raising of the box lid; * all component boxes and their lids will fit inside the standard box raising the box lid by 2mm; * all component boxes without lids and the expansion board will fit inside the standard box raising the box lid by 2mm; * all component boxes and their lids and the expansion board will fit inside the standard box raising the box lid by 10mm. I aim to make elements of the box organizer available as I design, print and prototype them - that way I can obtain feedback on this project while it's in-flight. ### What this "thing" currently contains: * Seven player piece boxes designed to hold the player pieces for the seven game factions. Each box has the faction name and logo embossed into the box base; * Seven lids for the player piece boxes, with each faction's logo cut out from the top to help with identification. ### What is still to come for this "thing": * A component box and lid to hold the Encounter cards; * A component box and lid to hold the Factory and Quick-Start cards; * A component box and lid to hold the Automa and Objective cards; * A component box and lid to hold the Combat cards and Structure Bonus tiles; * A component box and lid to hold all Resource tokens in separate compartments; * A component box and lid to hold all Coins in separate compartments; ### Final notes. Progress on this project has been a little slower than I would have liked - a couple of printer breakdowns (including a seized y-axis motor, failed bed levelling sensor and broken filament bearing) have prevented me from testing the lids for the player pieces. I've now printed them all off and am happy with the results. I've designed the card holder for the Factory/Encounter cards and am doing test prints of these as I write this.
