SCX24 Wide Beadlock Wheels

<h4>Background</h4><p>This print file is an extensively modified remix of <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4768876">Arkon Lincoln SCX24 Beadlock Wide Rims</a> on Thingiverse by <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/cheapazhobbies/designs">CheapAZHobbies</a></p><p>I used PrusaSlicer to scale, remove material, &amp; correct the geometry so it could be used on my SCX24 Bronco.</p><h4>Summary of changes in PrusaSlicer:</h4><ul><li>cut ‘Front’ wheel face to eliminate faux hardware feature</li><li>scaled XY of ‘Front’ &amp; ‘Rear’ for hex fit and tire ID (25.4mm)</li><li>scaled XY of ‘Wide beadlock ring’ for slip-fit to FR &amp; RR wheel pieces</li><li>scaled Z of all parts so total face to face wheel width = 21mm and inner lock ring = 16.85mm</li><li>added negative volume cylinders<ul><li><i>‘Front’</i><ul><li>3.25mm x 25.4mm for axle stub thread clearance</li><li>10mm x 14mm to delete lug nut features / clean up wheel face</li></ul></li><li><i>‘Rear’</i><ul><li>4x 4mm x 2mm for socket head relief pocket</li><li>4x 2.5mm x 4mm to open up screw holes</li></ul></li></ul></li><li>added negative volume cone to ‘Front’<ul><li>25mm x 15mm to bevel ID of wheel lip<br>&nbsp;</li></ul></li></ul><p>All the mods were developed through several iterations to work with <a href="https://store.rc4wd.com/rc4wd-interco-super-swamper-tsl-thornbird-10-scale-tires.html">RC4WD 1.0" Thornbirds</a>. The wheels have a lot of negative backspacing with a deep dish. &nbsp;IMHO, Thornbird mounted tire profile looks much better on the wide wheel. The end result is improved rollover stability plus a wider tire contact patch, making the top heavy, hardbody Bronco a much better performing crawler.</p><h4>Printing</h4><p>Printed in Overture Gold PETG @ 0.2mm layer, 15% infill, 3 perimeters, w/ support on build plate only. Could go to finer layer resolution to reduce the stepping on the wheel spokes if you prefer. Also printed in Overture Space Grey PETG and did a color change version with black in spoke section.&nbsp;</p><p>I only uploaded the .3mf and .gcode files because the STLs didn't work for me and wanted to save someone else the trouble.&nbsp;</p><h4>Assembly</h4><p>Same procedure as standard 1” beadlock&nbsp;</p><p>Requires qty 16 M2x4 cap screws <i>(4 per wheel)</i></p><h5>Updates</h5><ul><li>Increased to 3 perimeters to improve hex face surface, reducing wheel runout</li><li>Added print file with wheels only, flipped hex side down for better surface finish on spokes plus a color change for that area. Requires more care when removing support from screw locations &amp; hex area.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>If you print this and like it please let me know and share your makes!</p>
