SCX24 Hitch

SCX24 Hitch

This is a fundamental setup for the SCX24. A small square located near the ball serves as a holding point for a chain, as illustrated in the accompanying picture. The hitch itself imposes limitations on how far the body can pivot backwards due to its mounting configuration (refer to the provided image). Mounting: It has been engineered to fit seamlessly into the parallelograms situated at the bottom of the body mount. You will need to drill holes into the center of these parallelograms to match the corresponding holes found in the hitch, as depicted in the picture. This setup allows for mounting using standard screws, which I happened to have on hand (though you may find suitable alternatives among small screws). For the ball and tongue assembly, I utilized a spare ball stud from one of my trucks along with its accompanying link (specifically ECX1046 and ECX1058). You should be able to locate similar components that serve equally well.
