Update: 9/8/18 - Bed Files Removed, Progress Photos Added I've taken a major step forward with my project by temporarily removing the 3-piece bed files until they're cleaned up. Meanwhile, I've added a roll bar rear mount to give it some extra stability. New progress photos are now available for all to see, showcasing how close I am to having a final product. Next on My Agenda I'm planning several key updates in the coming weeks. First and foremost, I'll be reinforcing the mounting tabs to make them stronger and larger. Additionally, I'll be redesigning the hood with improved mounting attachments. To take it up another notch, I'll also be adding more detailed accessories to enhance the overall experience. Update: 8/16/18 - New Bed Files Added I've recently uploaded new files for the bed specifically designed for the 3-piece configuration. In addition, I've tweaked some of the prints to ensure they're optimized for high-quality results. However, please note that some bed modifications are required to accommodate the transmission. Project Origins This project started out as an ambitious endeavor to create a truck with a complete frame and all the bells and whistles. While this design is still in development, I recently acquired an SCX10.2 and decided to adapt my body design to fit it perfectly. As a result, I've left it open for users to customize their own body height according to preference. The design screws together using 2mm self-tapping screws, making it easy to assemble and optimize for high-resolution prints without sacrificing too much time. Key Features One notable feature of this design is the grill, which requires gluing in place. Additionally, the hood has hinges that allow for smooth opening and closing.
