Two clasps were discovered in the rear section of the sunken vessel, clasps being devices used to secure a rope. Both clasps are crafted from wood and represent classic horn-style clasps, exhibiting identical measurements. Clasps of equivalent size and style were also found on the Vasa for resecuring the gunport openings
