SCUZZY (SCSI) The cat
thingiverse
The 90s CGI series Reboot was groundbreaking, both in terms of animation and depth of theme and characterisation. It had a short run series of toys by Irwin (Distributed by Character in the UK), but we were robbed of some of the best peripheral characters, namely Hexadecimal's spy/pet Scuzzy. Whilst I know A version of them was available with the black version of Hex, it never got wide distribution, so very few hardcore fans ever got their hands on it. This model is scaled to fit in with the Irwin figure line, and is provided in both a complete form to print and paint, or an "OPEN" version, which allows you to either dome the top with tinted resin, or print the "GLASS" part in clear resin or translucent green. Both models have 3 holes built into the model, for you to atatch tail and whiskers. The tail hole is designed to take a length of 3D filament, with about 4cm protruding. I added the whiskers to mine using 1.75cm lengths of fine florist wire, secured them into the hole with the thinnest drop of CA glue, and trimming them to shape. Happy printing, and stay frosty! A seperate 3cm length of 1.75mm filament and either some nozzle-fed 0.4mm filament, or florist wire is needed to complete the tails and whiskers.
