Scutoid, space-filling duo
thingiverse
The universe can be filled up with enough of these two shapes printed. A scutoid is actually a transition from a pentagon to a rhombus, not the typical hexagon to pentagon transition. I'm still unsure if the geometric definition of a scutoid has been finalized. From my understanding a scutoid is: a shape that transitions from a multi-sided face to a face with fewer sides by means of a truncated vertex. This four-cell configuration fits within a Cairo pentagonal tiling pattern and its two parts are radially symmetrical.
