Scutoid, four cell with planar faces

Scutoid, four cell with planar faces

thingiverse

Ed Pegg posted a scutoid that doesn't immediately resemble the scutoids in the recent Nature publication, yet his model is extremely elegant because it has all planar faces. I tweaked his design a bit, most notably tapering the hexagonal face into the pentagonal face. This allowed the truncated vertex triangle thingy to be pointed perpendicular to the build plane. Both uploaded parts are radially symmetrical to make the four cell configuration. Each part has 3 pentagons, 1 hexagon, 3 trapezoids, and 1 triangle. All facets are planar making these scutoids polyhedra? Thank you to Kitwallace for bringing his interpretation to Thingiverse
