SCURA mod frame "counter"
prusaprinters

This is a mod (actually multiple mods) to the Goodman SCURA pinhole camera. After using the stock camera for a while the inconsistent and big frame spacing started to annoy me. So I designed a mod to make the spacing more even. This is a "clicker" to count the sprocket holes. To advance one frame you should hear and feel four "clicks".

I recomend buying or printing the original first to get the assembly right.

The clicker itself may need some sanding and or additional material in the form of some super glue on the tip (if the "tounge" is too short) or some light sanding to make it work correctly. Test it outside of the camera by hand first. I had to print a few to get the settings right and still had to sand it to make it work. Also after installing it please check with a toothpick or other small implement if the wheel turns freely. If not, try sanding it down to make it thinner.

This mod is NOT compatible with the stock SCURA since the other mods I implemented are:

change M2 hardware to M3

replace hidden nuts with melt in thread inserts

added pins on top to help with framing

changed the height of and added texture to the advancement knobs

EDIT: I added a version of the top to be compatible with the original SCURA files. You need to print this instead of the stock one and add the frame counter parts to make it work. You also need an additional M3 nut and screw to mount the clicker. Please give some feedback if you printed it !
