April 25, 2022: Provided with permission from Leva Okapi (Gamepires). This is a fan made model of a surveillance droid in the Scum Open World Survival game. It is not for sell or profit. No remeshing is authorized without contacting the creator or Gamepires for permissions. Printed model at 5" 3" and 2.5" recommend 5" for best detail and presentation. You may have to download the files individually. Recommendations for FDM Printers: Print parts with tree supports. Print arms with the joint (disc) toward the build plate. Print Body with front either up or down (build plate). Print stand upright. All other parts may be printed as is, again use tree supports. For either model use a skirt or raft for bed adhesion. Recommend printing at no smaller thank 2inches (5.08 cm) For best results print on super or dynamic quality in CURA Printer: Ender 6SE Material: ERYONE Gray PLA filament Recommendations for SLA/Resin Printers: I personally do not recommend printing in resin. Lots of warping and resin retention on the 5 models I printed in resin for this. Recommend hollowing the model if you want to print in SLA, still lots of resin warping was seen in my prints. Printer: Elegoo Mars2 Pro Material: Elegoo Gray Resin Print Settings Printer Brand: Creality Printer: CR-X Supports: Yes Resolution: Super Infill: 20-40percent Filament: Any PLA Any Notes: While it can be printed at 20percent for the smaller parts (cameras, antenna) recommend 40percent infill Post-Printing ============= Sand parts till print lines are removed. Prime. Sand with 800 to 2000 to smooth. Paint with desired paints (Glossy Metallic is best). Wetsand with 2000grit to get smooth. Use rubbing compound to get luster. Clear coat and Wax if desired. Sand parts till print lines are removed. Apply primer to parts. Sand with 800 to 2000 to smooth. Paint with desired paints (Glossy Metallic is best). Wet sand with 2000grit to get smooth. Use rubbing compound to achieve luster and reflective/mirror appearance. Clear coat and Wax if desired. Tec 1 decals are about 1" across and were set up for printing on decal paper for laser printers. 1" decals will work on the 5" size model.
