Collaborate with sculptor Jake Waldron, visit his website at http://www.jakewaldron.com/. To create your soft robot, learn silicone mold making and casting. Get more details on the process and other robots at http://bit.ly/softrobots. Follow these steps: sculpt over a solid tentacle print, cover with a 2-part mold using base as sprue. Seal the bathtub, cast RTV silicone into it, peel out, and cast wax for bladders. Assemble tentacle interior, place in two-part mold, fill with silicone, remove wax, and attach to air. Your creepy tentacle is ready!
