Sculpt Mode Start Points
thingiverse
Experience enhanced Sculpt Mode in Blender 2.5 through new .blend files designed for sculpting. A tutorial on Thingiverse Blog will provide further insight, but those familiar with model scaling in Blender should find working with these files intuitive. Each file features a distinct shape as a starting point, all boasting flat bottoms for printability. To get started, download Blender 2.5 from blender.org/development/release-logs/blender-250/. Open your chosen .blend file and sculpt away by clicking on the model to add clay-like bulges. Adjust sculpting options available on the left side of the screen, including mirroring and different modes with customizable settings. Currently, Blender 2.5 doesn't support STL export; however, it offers .obj format as an alternative for 3D printing.
With this file you will be able to print Sculpt Mode Start Points with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Sculpt Mode Start Points.
