I decided to evaluate my recently acquired MakerBot Digitizer Desktop 3D Scanner by scanning a miniature sculpted Sculpey foot. The test aimed to assess the calibration process, resolution in tiny details, and multi-scan functionality. However, I am underwhelmed as the software crashed before completing the second scan. As a result, only the first scan image is visible. Unfortunately, I didn't capture an "before" photo of the original foot as it was smashed to reuse. In a playful moment, I pretended to catch a leprechaun in my closet for my nephew. Thankfully, I located a picture of the initial Sculpey foot from photos taken during our fun-filled day at Uncle Nick's Laboratory.
